Grades 11 & 12

In Grades 11 & 12 at IGBIS, we are proud of our community and offer a range of opportunities. From Service to Curriculum, please find links below to further information about everything we offer.

Curriculum

At IGBIS, we offer three major programmes for study. Please note that programme selection is based on a variety of factors, including further study intention, target country of further study, and additional factors.

The IB Diploma Programme

Established in 1968, for students aged 16-19, the Diploma Programme (DP) provides students with a balanced education, facilitate geographic and cultural mobility and to promote international understanding.

The Career-related Programme (CP) is an innovative education framework for students aged 16 to 19. This is the newest and fastest-growing IB programme. The CP provides students with an excellent foundation to support their further studies, as well as ensure their preparedness for success in the workforce. The CP combines highly regarded and internationally recognised IB Diploma Programme (DP) courses with an approved career-related study and a unique CP core.

The IGBIS High School Diploma Programme

The IGBIS High School Diploma Programme (HSD) is viable alternative option for those students seeking the greatest flexibility in their choices and selections. Students take the DP courses except the Core subjects, and optionally may elect any combination of higher- and standard-level they seek.

Timetabling & Choices

At IGBIS, we organise the Subject Groups in order to maximise student selections. By tailoring the timetable, we can offer more attractive selections to students, and provide better pathways to university.
