    1928<\/strong> The May election saw the Nazis achieve only 2.6% of the vote. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1932<\/strong> July election saw the Nazis taking the most votes, 37.3%. Altona Bloody Sunday<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1932<\/strong> The November election saw their vote decline to 33.1%<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1933<\/strong> Hitler becomes Chancellor in January.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1933<\/strong> February, the Reichstag burns down. Hitler persuades Hindenburg to pass the Reichstag Fire Decree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1933 <\/strong>March, the first concentration camp at Dachau opens. Election sees their vote increase to 43.9% and the Enabling Act is also passed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
